Federal Engagement Community of Practice
The Senior Executive Association Executive Board is excited to launch and welcome our latest Community of Practice (COP) called the SEA Federal Engagement Community of Practice (FE COP).
The SEA Federal Engagement Community of Practice (FE COP) is formed to create a motivated, high-performing workforce within government agencies, ensuring the delivery of government wide services and the achievement of Agency missions. The FE COP emphasizes unique objectives tailored to the Federal government through educating, energizing, empowering, and inspiring a new generation of Senior Executives. Further, the FE COP will strive to cultivate a workforce that draws from the public of the United States of America.
Goals:
- Prepare and support communities by disseminating information and providing a minimum of two professional development sessions annually to assist with career advancement.
- Host quarterly FE meetings and provide a forum where SEA members and other key SEA stakeholders can network and engage with one another.
- Collaborate with federal agencies and other affinity groups to assist departments with actively seeking an ample pool of qualified candidates for the Senior Executive Service (SES), SES Candidate Development Programs (SESCDP), Senior Level(SL), Scientific or Professional (ST), and other senior leader positions.
