Join Now

Regular (Voting) Membership

Regular members receive full access to SEA’s services, programs, and leadership opportunities, including:

  • Member-to-member networking
  • All Communities of Practice
  • Access to programs, events, and member discounts
  • Eligibility for SEA leadership roles
  • Ability to provide input on SEA membership business

Current Federal SES and Senior-Level Equivalents (GS-15 / GS-14)

Open to career SES, SL, ST, equivalent senior-level positions, and select GS-15 and GS-14 employees who meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Executive-level responsibilities
  • Position under centralized Executive Resources Board oversight
  • Completion of an agency executive development program
  • Attendance at the Federal Executive Institute

Annual dues: $159

Retired or Former SES and Senior-Level Equivalents (GS-15 / GS-14)

For individuals who previously held SES, SL, ST, or equivalent senior-level roles and have retired or transitioned out of federal service. GS-15 and GS-14 members must have met the same eligibility criteria during their federal tenure.

Annual dues: $99

Participation Categories (Non-Voting)

SEA is committed to developing the next generation of senior executive leaders. These categories provide meaningful access to SEA’s learning ecosystem and professional community while members progress toward full eligibility.

Participation categories do not include voting rights, SEA leadership roles, or participation in the formal mentoring program.

Associate Members

For GS-14 and GS-15 employees who are not yet eligible for Regular membership but want to engage with SEA’s mission and connect with a national leadership community.

Annual dues: $99

Rising Leaders

For GS-12 and GS-13 employees identified as high-potential leaders through programs such as PMF, Pathways, agency leadership development programs, or the SEA YGL Mentor-Protégé Program.
