The Senior Executives Association (SEA) and the National Association of Hispanic Federal Executives (NAHFE) have announced a collaborative effort intended to combine SEA’s role as the voice of career federal executive leaders across the federal government and NAHFE’s consistent work to advocate for the professional development and advancement of Hispanics within the federal government’s workforce.
“The Senior Executives Association is committed to a public service that is not only world-class in its effectiveness, but also reflects the expansive, inclusive, diverse nature of the American people on whose behalf civil servants are ultimately working.” said Bill Valdez, President of SEA. “We look forward to benefiting from NAHFE’s expertise as we continually seek ways to improve the work of the federal government, both internally, for the public servants working in the trenches, as well as externally, for the taxpayers relying on said services.”
“We are excited to join SEA and to bring to the table the many voices and viewpoints represented by NAHFE’s membership,” said Al Gallegos, National President of NAHFE. “This cooperative relationship will not only ensure SEA is bringing to the table a more diverse and representative collection of perspectives, but is also a positive step in support of the increased recruitment, hiring, retention and advancement of Hispanics in the Federal workplace.”
