NAPA and SEA Sign MOUThe National Academy of Public Administration and the Senior Executives Association (SEA) today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to work together on projects to achieve the organizations’ shared goals of effective and efficient government, modern management practices within the federal government, and strong public confidence in career civil servants’ ability to carry out their mission. This announcement was made during Public Service Recognition Week, which takes place May 7-13. “We are pleased to partner with the Senior Executives Association on select projects, which will strengthen our ability to make progress on challenging public administration issues,” said Terry Gerton, President and CEO of the Academy. “The SEA and the Academy share many of the same goals, which is to see government work well for all and for our citizens to understand and appreciate the good work and dedication of career civil servants. With this Memorandum, we can join forces to help achieve that.” “NAPA is a recognized thought leader in Washington and we are honored to partner with them to address important challenges confronting the Federal government,” said Bill Valdez, President of the SEA. “Through this MOU we are joining forces to improve public perceptions about the value of public service through rigorous research and innovative projects.
